Cramped
The overall looks and the grounds of the hotel are nice and there is a lot of land all around. The rooms on the other hand are small and cramped. I had to pay to switch rooms because the first room I had was the size of my bathroom. The rooms are not really up to date but it has just enough to get by.

There are a few local pubs and eateries in walking distance of the hotel. Nice places to have a drink or get something to eat. Everything in the area close early.

A rather charmless, sprawling modern conference center
If you expect historic preservation or old world charm (as hinted at in the hotel web-site) this is not the place for you. An historic building and beautiful grounds have been desecrated by modern sprawl. The staff are friendly, however, and the breakfast is very good.

NIce Hotel
The only problem I had was to get the room key to work on the entry doors to the hallway from outside the hotel. Also get precise location to where to park your car (closest to your room) as otherwise you could be walking a long distance though a maze of hallways to get to your room.
