It was excellent location best breakfast in spain. If I go back to madrid I will go back again.

Good place to stay... but it had it’s drawbacks

The Hotel is in a great location in Madrid. Everything is close by and with a metro station right outside the hotel, getting anywhere was a breeze. The room was bit small to my liking. It was very clean and tidy. Maid service was great. The biggest drawback was that it had no parking garage. So I ended up paying for overnite parking, and it wasn’t cheap, which in essense raised the hotel rate.

Hotel is located in the center of Madrid within walking distance of main attractions and businesses. We arrived several hours before the official check in time and our room was ready. Great breakfast and service.

Best Location in Madrid

We book this hotel because it was in Old Madrid, and the location was fantastic. 4 blocks from the TourBus center, near the Royal Palace, and only a few blocks from the famouse Plaza de Mayor. Location, Location, Location. The receptionist spoke perfect English and was fantastic to guide us to things to do every day. Room was small, which is normal for Europe hotels in downtown locations. 5 stars for this hotel

Take a day trip to Segovia from Madrid, about 100km and see the roman aquaducts. We booked the day trip on Expedia.com, along with the hotel booking.

Great hotel, best location in Madrid but water presure @ showers would not stay steady (too hot, too cold, back to to hot & so on) The buffet breakfast is great even if there is an extra charge for it.

Don’t eat formal meals (eg: lunch, dinner) go to the loacal pubs and have a beer or a glass of wine with some tapas, you can do this all day and sample more of a variety of the local foods, If you have to have a formal dinner, go to "Meson Botin" a 5 minute walk from hotel

Great Location

Extremely close to Madrid Central and the metro. Room was very well-maintained. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good Location

ITs a hotel that is close by to everything, u can just walk around b/c only take few minutes. the hotel room is smaller then most of other hotels! i didn’t hear much noise other than people talking outside the room and man they clean up your room early, u hear the vacuum cleaner on and other noise so its annoying if u planning to sleep in. but over all its a good place to stay.

A good place to stay for few days

I traveled to Madrid for 5 nights and stayed at the Vincci Capitol. The hotel is a small hotel, the rooms are not that big, as most hotel rooms in Europe are. It was very clean, contemporary style and is located in a great area in the heart of Madrid on Gran Via Street. This major street is full of shops (great for shopping ladies!), restaurants, cafes and is near metro stations. Also, Gran Via is walking distance to many site seeing areas, Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza De Espana, etc. I recommend this hotel for it’s great location and convience.

If you are budget traveling, it’s a great place to stay. Great if you want to stay near shopping areas. A very live area, full of restaurants and cafes.

Modern hotel, best location

the location is the best if you want to do shopping. The Hotel is confortable and clean. The brakefast is good. The price is good.

Great Location, Poor Hotel

Stayed here for 3 days - the location is amazing because you are right on Gran Via and its only about 1/4 mile walk to Puerta de Sol and 1/3 mile walk to Plaza Mayor - however you hear EVERYTHING at night (stayed on the top floor too) - sirens, people, cars, etc. This hotel should invest in sound proof windows (I had it in Barcelona)... this is not a 4 star hotel as expedia rates it - its a 3 star according to the hotel - room was extremely humid and smelled like mold when you walked in AND after shower (stayed on top floor) - called down a few times and tried to get room changed, but nothing could be done - also concierge would not pick up phone when I tried calling down for other things (she was on a personal call, but its not right to ignore calls from guests - a simple "please hold" would have sufficed) ... I do plan on returning to Madrid, but will never stay at this hotel again

There’s a tourist bus route that goes all around the city - if you can find that map with its route and stops online, i suggest finding a hotel near one of them that’s away from Gran Via because of the noise - the bus goes until 12am and taxis are cheap

Chic and Central

I loved this hotel. It is super nice / clean / very centrally located with the Callao metro stop located just outside the hotel. Right accross the street, there is a money exchange / phone / internet shop. The staff was helpful, although the not friendliest. My room was well looked after and the view (of Gran Villa) was great. The rooms have A/C (thermostat in-room) for the hot afternoons and large windows that open inward for when it cools off at night. The door guys are extremely courteous and helpful. I thought it was strange that the rooms have a towel warmer and bidet, but no iron or hair dryer? Also, there is a package to by all-access to movies / internet / music in your room for a 24 hour period, but the keyboard wasn’t working, so no internet. Movie and music selection were good. The front desk was nice enough to deduct the internet service from the bill since they didn’t fix the keyboard. Anyway, all in all it was a treat. I would definitely stay here again!

A/C problem

The first night we got to the hotel the A/C broke in our room, so I call main desk to have it fix, but they couldn’t help me because it was to late and I had to wait to next day. My family and I had to go to sleep in a steamy room. It was very hot and uncomfortable. The next day we got moved to a different room, but every time the beds were made, the A/C will get turned off and and when we arrived to our room it was very hot.I really didn’t appreciate that I complain but the kept doing the same thing.

Central Madrid Best Hotel

This is a completely renovated modern Hotel at the center of Madrid. I stayed in more expensive Hotels in Madrid before, but here I got the most for my money.

very good location, i’m recomending to stay here, room just ok. service also just ok, but not much, phone calls from your room just to outside cost 3 euro, very expansive, front desk not so good, whe i asked where located breakfast, lady asked me "you have to know everything" and laghping, i dont know why? if couse i have to know where breakfast?i arrived about 1.45 they told me roos not ready yet, not so friendly, broken english, they dont doint understand so good english, outside people also not so much friendly, and they hate Americans ,i don’t know why,don’t show you passport.bbut anyway nice location,i’m recomending to stay here, but expansive for this money.

Chic and pleasant

Very nicely designed hotel with an awesome rooftop deck. Rooms are well insulated from the street noise. Staff was friendly and courteous. My only potential warning is that the mattress is very firm. If you are used to a soft mattress, it may be uncomfortable.
