Mr. Manager is in CHARGE!!!
It is worth the money but only if you have no instance to deal with the property manager or ask for anything from the staff. Be sure to get any special requets signed and in triplicate by the new "mgr" of this property. The VERY overzealous manager blew off our early check in request (we had proof of date/time/and staff member we confirmed with) and nearly threw a tantrum when we accessed the whirpool 15 min early (again confirmed with a staff member). Mr. Manager could care less if the "free" breakfast is replenished, the elevator is dirty, or that the exterior door was propped open at night during our stay but please, dear travelers, never,ever get in the pool area early! Again, if you like being called a liar and to have all requests ignored or denied no matter how small then by all means stay at this hotel. We won’t!
