Sugarland, but no sugar needed
The facilities were good enough, including the continental breakfast.

Holiday Inn Express Sugarland, TX (Houston)
My only complaints for this hotel were that the elevator was extremely slow and I was on 5th floor, and the local CBS station did not come in on the TV. I was amazed that in this day and age not getting the major networks only 5 miles from Houston! But the room itself was perfect otherwise and the free breakfast included more options then I expected it too. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and nice to deal with and helped with directions and even printed out a map for me. So overall was a good experience.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
In Houston, driving is tough due to the one way frontage roads & having to do reverse direction a lot due to lack of off ramps. If somethng is on other side of highways, is hard to see. So expect to take some extra U turns time to time. Just the nature of navigating Houstons road system! If you are getting a rental car, get the toll pass package. For a few bucks a day, is a big time and money saver at tolls for you will not have to stop (cameras use the plate numbers for billing).
