Nice beds, but this hotel is somewhat outdated.
First of all, we had nice service and very comfortable beds. No complaints there. We also like the location. However, if you stay at the Whitehall, you need to know it looks old and in need of an update. Hallways look somewhat shabby. We had an "expedia hot deal" price on this hotel, which is why we chose to try it. Had we paid full price, we probably would have been disappointed in our surroundings.

Chicago’s Best Location!
Recently spent 4 nights at the Whitehall. It was perfct--comfortable room, wonderful staff, delightful bar! Best of all was the PERFECT location! One block off Michigan Ave and right around the corner from Bloomingdale’s! Loved it!
The Bristol Restaurant--fabulous, unique menu! Best drinks ever! Try the Moscow Mule!
