Disappointed
I was very disappointed with this hotel. Before booking, I read the description that stated the hotel had been recently remodeled. I can’t even imagine what it looked like before. I have no intention of staying here again. There are many hotels in the area. I had stayed at another hotel across the highway two weeks prior to this visit. For a comparable amount the stay was 100 times better. Unfortunately, the place was booked for that weekend.

Excellent Value and Excellent Staff
Top 4 Reasons to stay at this motel: 1. The Staff-ARE AWESOME. We are planning a move to Austin and not only were they attentive to our needs as guests, but also very helpful with advice about the neighborhoods, directions, and what to do around town. We never felt they were too busy for us and they were always friendly and kind! 2. The Breakfast- Texas. Shaped. Waffles. How cool is that? Plus your typical continental breakfast but with an individual spin on it that makes it pretty unforgettable! 3. Location- This place is RIGHT off the freeway which is good and bad. Easy access to both I-35 North and South, however it can be easy to miss if there’s too much traffic. It’s easy to turn around, but it is noteworthy that it can be difficult at times. 4. Cleanliness of the Room- The hotel has been recently renovated which shows, nothing is outdated, unclean or unsafe in any way. We did request a "smoking" room, and let me tell you it was SMOKEY! Even for someone who lives with a smoker! But the nonsmoking rooms are clean and fresh. All in all I really enjoyed our stay here, especially because of the staff, they made sure we were comfortable, took the time to talk to us, and were informative and considerate! A great value! :)
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
A cool tour to check out is the Austin Ghost Tour, its a unique way to learn the city history, wear good walking shoes, you go ALL over town! Also, if you’re planning a move to the area like we are, check out the visitor center on 6th street!

A great place to stay!
We stayed at Days Inn Crossroads at the end of July 2009 and were very pleased with the accommodations. Robert, at the front desk, was particularly friendly and helpful. The room was great and much, much nicer and larger than we ever expected. We would stay there again without any hesitation.
