Decent Place to Stay
The hotel was lcoated in the northern part of Rome and was within easy walking distance of the Vatican and subway station. We chose to walk and the location wasn’t to bad to be able to walk anywhere in the city.

Convenient yet out of the way
Just got back from a wonderful week in Rome. Beldes HR is as advertised...a 3 star hotel with caring staff and very convenient location. Our room was in the Annex a block away from the main hotel. It was a minor inconvenience at breakfast time, but we weren’t there to spend the days in the hotel! Our room was a bit smallish and neither it nor the bath were as sumptuous as the pictures lead you to believe. Still, the room was nicely decorated and was immaculately clean. The location is hard to beat...a ten minute walk to a great number of the sights we wanted to see and a block from the Metro for those that were farther away. Very quiet, safe neighborhood with an excellent choice of restaurants at varying price points.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Unless you’re addicted to Subways, pay by the ride for the Metro. Only 1 Euro for 75 minutes and much cheaper than buying the several day pass. Many attractions are so close to each other that you don’t have much need for multiple rides during the day.

Excellent Hotell
We stayed at the Beldes HR 8 nights and it was great. We loved the location! The owners were fantastic people and their English was perfect, which made everything a little easier :) This hotel experience added to our fabulous Rome vacation..
