Excellent Palermo Soho hotel
Excellent location if you want to be in the midst of the hip & stylish Palermo (Soho, Hollywood, etc) neighborhood. It’s safe, easy to walk around (minus all the dog p**p on the street). It’s a 20/25 minute walk to the D line subway (Subte). The hotel staff are gracious, friendly, and always helpful. Our corner 3rd floor superior room was modly and minimally decorated; comfortable queen bed; nice bathroom. Only issue was that with open windows you were exposed to all the nightly noises of the neighborhood - barking dogs, people out (very) late...
You are right in the thick of thinks in Palermo Soho for dining and nightlife. There is a vast list of dinning, bar, cafe, and nightclub options here. Access to Palermo Hollywood is not difficult, though avoid the park. Even heading to the portion of Palermo closer to the Tres De Febrero park area is easy. If in Recoleta and if you are into cheese then you must explore the Cheese Room at the Palacio Duhau. They an amazing variety of Argentinean cheese, and of course an excellent wine list to accompany.

Nice Boutique but a bit remote
This was an outstanding small hotel with great service and comfortable rooms. Staff very attentive and proactive. Only issue was location vis a vis downtown and access to public transportation, it was a long walk to metro which is an easy way to access the city center. The neighborhood was great with high end boutique shopping and a great Argentine steakhouse around the corner. All in all, exactly as billed when I booked, and a great value for those not on a corporate expense account.

Great Argentine steak house around corner. If you go, be prepared to have a hearty appetite, the portions were huge!
