Crowne Plaza Festival City

Good value.

We stayedayed at this hotel over the New Year period. At check in the room we booked was not available but the hotel upgraded us. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Loved the bed. The pool area and that off the Inter Cotinental next door is very nice.Enjoyed the beer at the Belguim Beer Cafe in the lobby but, very exepnsive. This hotel is linked to the Festival City mall with a good vartiety of shops, restaurants and a super market. One gripe - breakfast service in the mornings were chaotic. The hotel was very full so this could have been the reaon.

Good sleep - bad eats...

Nice hotel - Great service - We were upgraded to a VERY nice room. Pool area very enjoyable. Gym is brand new and in great condition. Only complaint - COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE FOOD AND RESTAURANT service. Prices very high and food of terrible quality - service took over 2 hours, screwed up both orders and did nothing to address the issue. Front desk also refused to help. Too bad.

Dubai’s Best Valued 5 star!

This is by far the best Hotel value I have experienced to date! This was actually my second stay! I work in Iraq and when it is time to relax, I want to relax! The hotel service, food, staff, room cleanliness were all top notch! I had a long trip and I remembered how fantastic this hotel was when I visited back in July! They did not disappoint! I had a late flight heading home for Thanksgiving and they were more than accommodating in allowing me extra time to rest. I left some electronic items in the room after checkout, when I returned the staff went out of their way to recover them for me! I still had time to kill so I had dinner at the Pub in the hotel...the food and atmosphere were great! Add the close proximity to the airport and you had one satisfied guest! There is mall with lots of eateries, an IKEA and Hyperpanda (Walmart) store for everything from highend to the basics all in the same complex. They city tour is great also...about 55 USD! For a work guy that like value for his dollar...this is the place to stay!

Before catching a taxi to dinner, check out the shopping complex, lots of economical choices there!

Me and my wife absolutely loved this hotel... I would say that this hotel should be 7 start instead of 5! One of the best customer services and the cleanest hotel in the world! no joke! I travel a lot!

It is excellent hotel and acomedation. the only concern is that i had to deposit 1000 SR in their account for additional items, which i did not use and they charge it to my credit card and they told me it will take two weeks to refund it to my credit

I visit Dubai Crowne Plaza Festival City June 3,2009 .The hotel was very clean and we stayed in one of the suite. And I really will be staying there again when I go back in 2 years.The food was ok ,but a little expensive.The front desk and all the hotel worker was so polite and helpful to me and my husband.The Mall is very near to the hotel and have good eating places for everyone!

Traveler's tip on shopping

I liked Gold place they have their. I never seen much of Gold I have seen in Dubai. If you like Gold they have it and it is very expensive. Dubai have a lot of tall building and I mean I alot of building.Its alot of construction going on there also. It is a nice area to visit and to at stay and work. I am trying to get me a job there.The people are so nice and its hot there,but that will not keep me away!

Amazing Service

The staff was incredible, they seemed genuinely happy to have us stay with them. It is very clean and modern. It’s close to the airport and next to a large mall that has anything you might need, including many restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

The service was really good and I had a nice surprise in the night of my birthday, a nice cake offered by the Hotel was waiting for us in the room.

Excellent stay at Crowne Plaza Festival City

The Crowne Plaza was the perfect place to avoid the heat of Dubai’s sweltering summer. We loved the pools, fitness room, and numerous restaurants. The corridor to Festival City mall and the Intercon allows great access to food and goods without having to deal with Dubai traffic. and the Belgian beer, yummy.

Pretty Good

This hotel is a little pricey but the location right by Festival City Mall is very nice. The room was nice and I very much enjoyed the beer at the Belgian Cafe.

Will stay here again

We loved this hotel, we stayed for 3 nights, and it couldn’t have been better. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, room was amazing with perfect view of Dubai Creek and the Burj Dubai. The location is great, it was very convenient to walk to the Festival City mall which is connected to the hotel, with so many restaurant options and entertainment. Also it was easy to access all of the other areas of Dubai that we were interested in seeing. We will definitely be staying at this hotel every time we travel to Dubai, the hotel and generally our entire visit to Dubai far exceeded our expectations.

a great choice for Dubai

The Crowne Plaza Festival City is an excellent choice for any traveller to Dubai. It is an extremely comfortable hotel with great facilities and helpful staff.The location is a big plus, being situated adjacent to the Festival City shopping mall with great stores, a variety of restaurants, and its on the creek, so you get some nice outside venues (to eat or be entertained). It is also very centrally located within Dubai itself. There is easy access to Emirates Rd, if one wants to explore the country a bit. Equally easy is the access to either Bur Dubai, or Diera... this hotel has it all!

Festival City is a great shopping destination. An excellent selection of stores and restaurants, as well as cinemas and other entertainment. It has a wonderful location on the creek so any outside activites are enhanced. There is often some kind of varying entertainment within the mall or next to it; concerts, shows, or even an amusement park.

Felt like home

From the moment you step inside you know your going to be spoiled. Everything seemed so perfect. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was truly professional. Just about everyone spoke English and went out of their way to assist. The atmosphere is so refreshing and the modern decor makes the stay so enjoyable. A little about the room. I was upgraded to a suite even though I had booked a standard room. I told the receptionist that I had stayed at a Crowne Plaza hotel in America and she then upgraded me saying she wanted me to tell others about this hotel. The room was huge, it had 2 bathroms and a giant see through marbled bathtub and seperate rain forest shower. There’s bath robes in the closet, put them on after a nice shower and walk around your room in style. I felt like a big shot and took pictures of my room. The bed was so soft and I slept really good. The view from my room was the best. It overlooked the ocean and the tallest building in the world, the Burj Dubai.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

There’s a mall that connects to the hotel and in the mall on the ground floor near the food court is a money exchange. You can exchange your money for Durhams at the bank rate without the standard exchange fee. There’s a gold market right next to the mall and a huge amusement park next to the hotel. Taxi’s are easier to catch at your hotel entrance than at the mall. The mall uses private cabs which are not metered and cost more.

Stayed for 5 nights, nothing bad to say about my trip. Newt to Festival City Mall, close to the airport, far from the city.

An excellent choice

At check in front desk staff tried to sell updates. However, the accomodations and staff were excemplary. It was an awsome place to stay. Would return AGAIN.
