Good resort
The resort is very good if you stay there as a family. The only concern is the check-out time. You have to check-out by 10am and if you request to stay l hour more they will charge you extra for late check-out.

Very relaxing and the staff were very friendly and accomadating!
We loved the hotel, however , the city side of the hotel where we was staying was very noisy, There is a train that goes by appr every 30 min, and just when it gets to the hotel is blows its bells and whistles--We did not get very much sleep,because we would wake every time this happened. If you was not stating on that side of the hotel every thing would have been perfect. The hotel was right at the ocean, it was very clean, comfortable, and very friendly. We would stay there again but only on the ocean side not the city side.

I would not stay on the city side of this hotel if I had small children.

Don’t book there - you may not have a room when you get there
We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance through Expedia with the Wyndham Oceanview resort. Two days prior to our arrival we were informed that Wyndham had overbooked the rooms during our stay, thus we had to find other accomadations in a very short amount of time. For those of you who try to find rooms ( with kitchens ) in the San Diego area, at the last minute know, it’s practically impossible to do so. Thank God the people at Expedia were able to find us a great place in La Jolla. But as far as the Wyndham, needless to say, after almost ruining our weekend beach getaway, we won’t be making any reservations there any time soon.
