Easy Access to Train Station
Literally less than a minute walk from the station, recently remodeled, modern, free internet in the lounge through PC’s or wireless. Nice English speaking staff. I would stay here again for sure.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
From the station take the bus 66 to Holwerd Harbor then to the ferry which goes to Ameland one of the islands. Buy the tickets on the bus.

This was our second stay at the Eden Oranje Hotel. It is very professionally run and very comfortable. The location is perfect for wandering around the city center.

Friesland Trip
The location is terrific. Right across from the trains station is super. The museums, canals, and downtown restaurants are within easy walking. The staff was very helpful and congenial.
