Somehow old and not quite clean looking but OK if in a budget.

Don’t do it
Room was old and worn out but relatively clean. Room reeked of cigarette smoke which was nearly intolerable for someone who does not smoke. I couldn’t wait to leave. If it hadn’t been so late and at a time when vacencies were rare I would never had stayed.

Nice, inexpensive place to stay
The room was a bit worn, but not as worn out as we were. It is located close enough to downtown to be convenient, but far enough away that sleep wasn’t a problem. The staff was helpful and courteous. The Manager was extremely gracious when we woke her up at 11:00 PM (I told her on the phone I would be there about 9:00).

There is a Mexican Seafood restaurant 2 blocks away that has !!GREAT!! ham & bacon stuffed prawns!
