A delightful roon
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in september. Services and room conditions were excellent. Shuttle bus service to downtown (Duval street) was also good with convenient schedule. But I didn’t expect parking fee for 20$ per day until check out. Outdoor pool was unavailable due to repairment and I think that’s the reason of lowered room rates during that time.

Nice Place to stay
This was our second stay. The first stay the smell of bleach almost overcame us us as we entered the room. This time that was not a problem, and both times the rooms were immacualate. This second stay was wonderful. The rain forced us to stay in, but the room was so comfortable we did not mind once our business was concluded. Panama City Beach and Origin are beautiful, the parking can be rather limited, and we do intend to return. Off-season is great and I hope they continue the discounts , during that time.
Off season may be cold or rainy, but there is plenty to do and relaxation is easy. Rates are usually discounted, but watch out for Bike Week! It gets rowdy and can be noisy for the casual visitor. A large mall is a few miles west, as is a shopping center.

Nightmare and you can’t even leave (3 rooms in 12 hours)
We entered the building which had no security to find the carpet in the hallways extremely dirty. Our first room had so much sand, stains and dirt you would not consider taking off you shoes. After pulling back the comforter more stains were found on the sheets . We called the front desk about the room condition only to be told no housekeeping at night. When we asked about getting a diffrent room we told "No way". We inquired about checking-out and the manager said, "Sure, but we will charge you for the full 3 days. We called Expedia and 3 hours later we had a new room, which seemed to be in much better shape. The next morning when I went to turn off the shower the shower faucett handle fell off. The third room was much cleaner and the shower worked, however the mattress was so worn it was sagging and it felt as if you were sleeping in a trough. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone except for those people who I really dislike and maybe not even them. All I can say is that if you find yourself close to this so called hotel run away fast as you can. Nice pool.
