Makes me want to go back..........
This new hotel had the modern day IKEA theme. Very artistic and well designed with darker colour hues, black granite surfaces, plenty of glass and chrome / stainless steel. Great food (but kinda pricey) but the glass enclosed bathroom near the middle of the room was amazing. Flat screen TV and get this - a little black fridge was replenished with water and Coke everyday for free! It was such a classy place that they were filming some Spanish movie on our floor. Friendly staff spoke English well enough
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Repsol gas station is right across the road for snacks and drinks, calling cards ATM etc. A five minute walk on the overpass would take you to Carrefour which is like a small Walmart and a 10 or 15 minute walk (or a 8 to 10 Euro) taxi ride will take you to Rey Juan Carlos Metro Train Stop.
