NOT as ADVERTISED!!!
Our room was not ready upon arrival as requested for needs of one disabled member of group. Bathroom not clean-no plastic liners used in any receptacles-ice bucket dirty. Continental breakfast not served early or as scheduled and not replenished-removed early. Hotel personnel did not have a clue about transportation available or Balloon festival schedules-hopeless on all tourist info.Pool filthy -when asked to be cleaned it was drained!Bed linens were NOT changed daily-only X1 when complaint made.Worst La Quinta I have ever stayed- no refrig-no microwave. Unfriendly staff-all shifts!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We went for International Balloon Festival-it was advertised as being one of closest motels.No motel shuttle from airport-fare over $40.00 and no transport to festival or other sites-cabs very expensive.The Festival was great and definitely worth seeing!!!

Bugs
To be honest, the stay at the hotel was pretty good, except for my last night there. felt something crawling on my arm in the wee hours of the morning and knocked it off, a few minutes later I was woken up by the same feeling, turn the light on and saw a bug on my arm, got up out of bed and found 2 more bugs in the bed, they looked like large beetles, but could not recognize them. Took one of the bugs to the front desk and their attitude was laxidasical. Besides the bugs and the staff "eh" attitude, the stay was pretty good!
