Really Good Location - Between Georgetown and Smithsonian
I was very satisfied with this hotel. It is in an ideal location if you are interested in exploring both Georgetown and White House/Mall areas. The lobby is huge in an atrium style, koi fish populate the indoor water ponds, breakfast was included in the morning, suites are perfect wwhen a family of four with two teenagaers needs some space. Parking is additional - so could add up if more than one night stay.

Great hotel
We stayed there for a week, and it was really comfortable. Really nice staff, kids friendly. And the rooms has enough space... Near foggy bottom metro station, 20 min walking to Georgetown, 20 min ealking to th e white house.

Insect Issue
I thought the staff who checked me in were very professional. They let me know the on site parking was full and told me how to get to the off site parking (which was easy to find). My problem was that i found a large roach in my room. Since I checked in late, I opted to just put a drinking glass over it to show the staff the next day and go to sleep. When I checked out the clerk on duty was rather abrupt and seemed to be unconcerned about the insect issue. Also, the barrier free shower looked nice but flooded the whole bathroom even if you adjusted the shower head. I had to use bath towels to make a dam across the shower stall opening to keep water from flowing into the rest of the bathroom. This hotel looks nice, but there are plenty of nice looking hotels for this price in DC. I will stay elsewhere next time.
