Poorly trained staff?
The service is very inconsistent at this hotel. Many of the staff members are very good: attentive, fast, communicate well & courteous. But then the busgirl (ie a female busboy) practically shoved me down as I walked over to the dinner buffet. The person who arranges restaurant reservations gave me one for a time when the restaurant wasnt even open. The waitress at the lounge poured me a glass of wine without letting me first taste it (which is their usual practice). Not surprisingly, it was a very bad wine. Related to service too is that the towels and robe in the beautiful and otherwise excellent spa smelled disgusting. Also, when there was a power black-out in the area, the hotels generators took a long time to take over.
