Stay here for convenience and space but not for quality!
I stayed in the two-story villas. The villa was spacious and secure and was right on the water (that was a nice plus). But theres where the positive review ends. The furniture in the living room was old, worn, and terribly stained. I could not believe the resort would allow this; I was shocked when I saw the condition of the sleep sofa. Nasty! The kitchen was sparcely furnished. There was no pot holders, no wash cloth, no dishsoap. I cant remember any more all the things that were missing but it wasnt fully-furnished. The floors were not clean. Our feet/socks turned black walking around in the unit. The lawn chairs out on the patios were worn and one was broken. If youre planning on eating out then dont worry about the kitchen furnishings. If youre not particular about what you rest your weary body on then dont worry about the furniture. But if you expect cleanliness look elsewhere; maybe the hotel but not the villas. Honestly, I would stay again because of the location, the space (for a large party this was nice), and the resort amenities. But dont expect 3, 4, or 5 star. Oh that reminds me THE WALLS WERE STAINED and in desperate need of cleaning (or a painting).
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Go to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park on Largo key. The snorkeling tour and the glass-bottom boat tour are fun and well worth the money. The glass-bottom boat orator was very knowledgeable about the marine life. While at Pennekamp you have to snorkel out to the sunken pirate ship recreation (with real cannons and ancor and ballast stones)!

Beautiful Resort!
Wonderful resort - everything that we needed was right there on the resort property. My son loved the fact that we could drop him off in the "Indies Club" and pick him up later in the day. Everything on the property was well maintained and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The fitness center had exceptional equipment - I never waited for a machine and the fitness center was clean and well maintained.
Traveler's tip on dining
Eat at the resort restaurants! The food and service were exceptional every time.

Will go back just not on a holiday weekend
The place was great after the long weekend was over. During the long weekend it was too noisy; too crowed and the relaxing vacation we planned was almost ruined. Luckily once the long weekend ended it was great.
