Great stay at Doubletree.
The Doubletree is 1980s modern, meaning it could use some brightening up. Check in staff and everyone else were very helpful. We stayed Sun and Monday. Sunday night was very quiet; we had the restaurant and pool to ourselves. Good ribs in Lafittes. Free internet and parking, no noise from the freeway (on the fourth floor). Room, bathroom may be a little small,but we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Saltgrass steakhouse just up the street. Excellent food at reasonable prices, in a Texas atmosphere.

Great choice for a great price
I was very pleased with the service of all the staff at this hotel. Cleanliness is a must when I stay at a hotel. Location too close to many touristic places in and near Denver, Golden to name a couple... Take a chance on Doubletree Hotel!!

Stayed an extra night
Everything was excellent. Rooms were clean, service was great, just an overall great stay. Every person at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. When I didn’t have any plans for my last day of vacation, they even gave me a suggestion which turned out to be a wonderful time. We decided to stay another night because we were so happy with the service and the people.

Not impressed
Our room was supposed to be non-smoking; it smelled strongly of smoke. One of the rolled-up "clean" towels had something on it which I only discovered after I used it!! An elderly relative who was staying in the same hotel had no bedside lamp in her room; when she requested one, they brought one, but it was broken!! Bathroom fixures were chipped, holes in shower curtain. Not impressed. Started clearing away breakfastphys buffet before time when it closed. Wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel was a standard Doubletree hotel. Nothing really bad about it, the main complaint was that there was two of us and they put us in a twin bed in a disabled room. Not sure if they were sold out or what the situation was. But the front desk staff was attentive even though they did not know what Dim Sum was when we asked if there was some in the area...

Friendly staff, would go back to stay again.
We enjoyed our stayed. We were able to take our dog with us. Even the manager got me a cup of coffee Saturday morning when I took the dog outside without going to the resturant. I thought this was very nice. The only thing that bother us was the noise from the freeway side of the hotel when the window was open.

Maybe only one and a half trees
I stayed on the club floor and enjoyed the convenient breakfast, but was disappinted with datedness of room and bath, and mostly there was no Insulation between my room and the guy next door. The acoustics seemed to be designed to not miss a single snore. On the other hand some of the staff were perhaps the most helpful I’ve seen.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Be careful. Westminster is a giant town. I thought I was staying close to another business in town but was 1/2 hour away.

Not impressed at all
The comfort of the room was not worth the cost. The most annoying thing was the hotel placed the ice maker within 12 feet of the door, so it sounded like a bus running outside the door all night. The window sill contained a few burned cigarettes in the track. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Simple maid service should have found this problem. The bathroom was very small and not well designed for ease of use. The room was narrow and the ergonomics of the room were not well engineered.

Was just fine
Not a luxury property, but nice, clean, basic hotel. Good location. Staff all VERY nice. I would stay here again if I needed to be in this particular area.
Traveler's tip
Quick way to get to the airport from the hotel - N. on Sheridan to 104th. east (right) on 104th - takes you right into the airport. Faster, more direct, and easier than using the freeways.

Outstanding stay!!!
Room was the best. The beds were extremely comfortable and my wife and I slept very well. Normally,we both have difficulty sleeping away from home. When I return to Denver, we’ll definitely stay at the Doubletree.
