Pleasantly surprised!
We wwere lucky to find a room in Dover that weekend - so many things going on and we only wanted a room for Friday night. We knew it was not a new modern hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. Room and bathroom were clean. Continental breakfast was good. The front desk staff did an excellent job.

Good for a night
I only stayed one night, so it was worth the cheap price for just one night. We had a few problems. When we showed up the guy at the front desk went to "check to see if the room was ready", but when he came back it was clear that he had been cleaning it and getting the maids to clean it. The room itself was pretty clean. There were plenty of towels and even a coffee maker, but we were only given one little bottle of shampoo so we had to request more. The maid decided to pound on our door for 35 minutes straight at 9 in the morning and woke us up. That bothered us a lot because we wanted to sleep in until the check out time, but that didn’t happen. Overall it is a good place to stay if you are only looking for a place to crash for a couple of nights and looking for a cheap hotel.

What’s with the stupid light?
They had a hard time finding our reservation even when I gave them the confirmation number. The key did not work well. There was a night light on that was annoying and could not be shut off. The chair at the desk was missing a wheel so one could not sit on if without tipping.
