Great location, clean, roomy and safe

We enjoyed our stay at La Residenza Verona House. First, it is situated in a great location within a few blocks of the Colesium and the center of town. The rooms are clean and roomy, and the street is well lit and safe. The rooms are not modern but traditionally styled. The only issue was the parking. The hotel had us park a few blocks away in an underground lot... but that was a very minor issue. Overall, we were very pleased!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The Colesium says it closes at 5:30PM but truly is closes closer to 5PM. Suggest you go there early. Also, I do not recommend you pay the 6 Euros for the Romeo and Juliet house tour-- there is nothing to see inside. Instead, you can view the house from outside and pose with the statue of Juliet for free.
