playa trip
Great location close to the beach. Folks were super friendly and helpful. Little close to night club- as evident by noise. Pool not what I expected--looked much larger in picture
Shopping and dining great. Try scuba good places.

small, but very nice!
i enjoyed my stay as far as location and settings, the hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel is clean as well...beach is so close and small, but the location is just perfect! one thing is that the ac goes straight to my bed so i was freezing and if i turned it off, i was hot...the other downside is the new hotel opening next door...construction was loud and the clubs a block away pounds the music nightly from 11pm-4or5am...so i had about 3 hours of sleep every night..other than that, i would come back....

Loved the Hotel
What a cool place to stay in Playa! My husband and I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff at check-in were very friendly and helped us with taking our bags up the spiraling steps to our 2nd floor room. What a wonderful place to stay on the beach! You look out and there is a wonderful ocean breeze, the turquoise waters and the white sand with palm trees blowing in the air!! The beach area was very clean and beautiful! Every day the chairs to lay out on the beach were set up for you with tables. Each room has a hammock located on the balcony for you to rest and take it easy! I loved the water dispenser in our room! You can hang a sign each day on your door to have the maids clean your room or not. The people who worked at Playa Palms were very friendly and helpful! The swimming pool lay out was amazing and the landscaping was very clean and beautiful! The pool water was refreshing. We enjoyed our time in Playa very much and will most definitely go back and stay at the Playa Palms! It was easy walking to the shops, restaurants and bars on 5th Avenue! The hotel itself was small and charming! Great vacation and I would definitely recommend the Playa Palms to stay at.
