only if you’re driving

This is a nice hotel, but we did have a couple of minor issues here. First, it’s a 10 minute drive from Victoria, so only stay here if you have a car. Victoria is lovely, worth exploring, so a downtown hotel is probably better if you can find a good one. Nevertheless, the place was extremely clean and easy to find, and the rooms were nicely set up. The second issue was the staff. Very young, and not friendly. We are savvy, low-maintenance travelers. Our questions weren’t stupid or demanding, but the Front Desk Princesses were curt and dismissive. Lastly, this is a new hotel, so noise carries through the halls. There was a family with children three doors down from us, and we were near the rumbly ice machine. Our sleep was frequently interrupted. (This is obviously a kid-friendly hotel, so that may be a plus for some.) On a final positive note, the shower at the Four Points is fabulous. Expedia doesn’t let you rate the bathrooms in hotels, which is a shame, because I loved this one.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you are on a budget and have a car, this hotel is very close to a nice little shopping center. They have a good supermarket and some other spots that will save a bit of money on snacks and items for the road.

Comfortable Bed

The king bed was wonderful. I would compare it to the bed we had when we stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Florida. The room was extremely nice. The 42 inch TV was great. The bathroom had a huge shower. These were the things I liked. My dislikes were: (1)There was a problem with the air conditioner it shut off and would not restart(problem corrected itself in about 30 minutes by itself). (2)Hotel clerk could speak English but could not understand what you meant or needed.(3)Boys(ages 11 to 13 approximately) were running up and down the halls. They were unsupervised on the guest computer and viewing and playing an inappropriate video loudly. Where were the sponsors for these team of boys that were staying in the hotel?

Traveler's tip

As long as you have a car the distance to Victoria isn’t bad about 10 miles. The city of Langford seemed to have mostly bar and grills and no regular restaurants. But there were very nice restaurants in Victoria.

Good place to stay

There for a week for work. Winter is not a good time for this area but hotel was nice, new, clean and had a big TV. Nice Pub below with good food and quality beer.
