Not A Happy Camper
Room smelled musty upon 1st entry. It was very run down and unmaintained. The bathroom faucet worked occasionally. My daughter had gotten sick in the bed, we called the desk to ask for help with clean up. We were told to put bedding on balcony until morning, there was no one there to clean up. Breakfast buffet was just ok. A lot of donuts. They had scrambled eggs every day, then just changed the side that went with it. We had to check out a 5am to catch our flight. I used the courtesy phone outside the office-it rang and rang and rang. I finally started kicking the door to get someones attention. The office attendant was asleep in the back. I asked for a receipt and was told I couldn’t have one because I pre-paid. We will pay more $$ next time for somewhere better.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
National Bridge Safari, not really worth the $$. We were a little disappointed. It was really a lot of deer type animals. It took us less than a half hour to drive through the park.

Points for honesty
We had to move out of our first room because of a loud party in two rooms nearby, and the second room needed some paint in one of the bathrooms. Nothing unsafe but not what you’re hoping for. This is not a new hotel, and it’s near some apartment complexes in northeast San Antonio. When we moved out of the room to escape the noise, my daughter left behind her iPod and speaker set. A maid cleaning the room brought them to the front desk, where they were waiting for us.
