Charming Elegance!
This hotel was a joy to stay in and a bargin to boot! I planned our trip to Italy for my husband and another couple. They thought I paid more than double when asking about the price of the hotel. The breakfast was great with a huge selection of items and beautiful display. The grounds are very pretty with a really nice pool. The San Gimignano area was such a nice place to stay as we toured ’Tuscany’. And apparently we really missed out by not eating at our hotels restaurant, we heard later that is was amazing but not open Sunday’s which is when it would have worked best in our schedule. By the looks of things while driving around, there were many nice places to stay in this area and you won’t be disappointed with this choice.

Great base for sight-seeing
This is a simple country hotel, clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Rooms and bathrooms are good sized. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. We didn’t try the restaurant for other meals, but it seemed to have a modest menu of typical regional fare. The grounds are attractive and the views across the hills inspiring. The quick, though winding, 5-7 minute drive down to San Gimignano is easy. We thought this a good value. If you’re planning to sight-see and not intending to spending a lot of time lounging at the hotel, this place is just right. Though there is an attractive pool, the public areas of the hotel are limited. We’d recommend this place to friends.
