This is the 3rd time I have stayed at MCM Elegante and I have never been disappointed. I have always stayed for a business trip and have commented to family and friends that I wish I could go every month just to rest and enjoy the wonderful, relasing atmosphire of the MCM Elegante. The staff is wonderful from the maids, waiters/waitresses, front desk staff and everyone else. I have brought family members with me on two trips and they have enjoyed the courtyard area (completely enclosed from the weather) but it feels like you are outside. Another plus is the wonderful beds there. Woke up refreshed every morning. My husband had some problems with the tv remote , but he called the front desk and they fixed the problem quickly. So if you are in Abilene for business or pleasure be sure to stay at the MCM Elegante. It also has a wonderful breakfast that is complementary to guests. Omelets made to order, pancakes, bacon/sausage Yum Yum.

The MCM Elegante is located across from the mall and surrounded by many restaurants and a walk in movie theatre is near by.

Pleseant Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the MCM Elegante Suites. The breakfast every morning was very enjoyable and the beds are wonderful. We were traveling with a child so I asked for a room away from the entertaining and eating area, so the noise would not bother us while sleeping. Although we always travel with a fan just in case of noise. The interaction we had with staff was pleasant and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family. My only recommendation would be to ask for a room as far away from the entertaining and eating area as you can get if you are a light sleeper.

Very Nice Hotel; Breakfast was the best

I was there for an overnight visit for business. I got there late and left fairly early. In that limited time I was impressed with the facility. The best was breakfast. Cooked to order eggs or just about anything else you might want.

Great Stay in Abilene

I chose the MCM Elegante because I had stayed there as a kid and new it to be a great hotel. It didn’t disappoint. From the super comfortable beds to the cooked to order breakfast it ranks in the upper tier of hotels I have stayed in. If you’re on a family vacation it’s got a great indoor pool, ping pong and billiard tables, a game room, a great open atrium area, and it’s right across from the mall. The only noticeable issue was the bathroom, where it appeared that they remodled the floors but still had the old tile and tub in use. That, by no means impacted our stay in any way.

If you like Mexican food then TaMolly’s is only a short walk or drive away. It’s great food with a great price. If you’re new to Abilene, don’t miss thet zoo. If your traveling from the MCM Elegante to the zoo take loop 322 and don’t forget to make a stop at Prime Time Family Entertainment Center. My kids love it, and we did too.

Loved the hotel at Christmas, but not on July 4th

I stayed at this hotel over Christmas and loved it! Good free breakfast, nice pool, decent workout room, quiet suroundings, clean rooms. Over the July 4th weekend, the hotel was packed with family reunions-up to five on the agenda each of the four days we were there. We had a room by an outside door which slammed every time it closed. We reported this to the desk and they attempted to fix it three different times - no luck. Each time the outside door slammed, it rattled our hotel room door. Since the hotel was full, the door slammed constantly. The pool was packed every time we wanted to go swimming, and the nice extras we experienced at Christmas were missing, including a caring staff. When I tried to explain to two different staff members about the slamming door and how it was affecting our stay, they offered no service recovery (such as a discount, free meal, etc. in order to keep our business) or empathy for our situation. This is a good hotel during quieter times, but I cannot recommend the place on family reunion weekends.

Way over priced and deffinately not 3 Star

The hotel staff at check-in seemed more entertained at answering the phone, after starting our check-in, rather than getting us checked in after a 337 mile motorcycle ride to get there. The suites were nothing more than a common suite you would get at any suite advertised hotel. Pool didn’t look very clean. You can do a lot better in Abilene for about half the money.

Nice Extras

I arrived just in time for Happy Hour and got a free glass of wine...that was much needed after a tough day. The suite was nice. It looked like they had recently replaced all the bathroom fixtures,(toilet, sink and tub) and even the tile floor). They had a small workout room but current equipment that was very clean and worked well. I asked for a room on the first floor near and exit and got it. Dinner in their restaurant was average. Breakfast was good. They fixed my eggs per order. It was a very nice experience especially for Abilene, Tx!

NIGHTMARE!!!!

Bad in every way. Poor service. Loud. Got a smoking room even though I requested non-smoking. Horrible experience at a premium price.

It was a good hotel.

This hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub, & sauna. My kids really enjoyed staying here. It also has a full breakfast that was pretty good.

Not impressed

The only reason I would return is the excellent service of employees. I specifically requested non-smoking room, which none were available. Also the rooms were so thin i could hear people walking all night, along with the TV next door unitl 4 am.

outdated for the price

large room, very outdated however, the lobby is nice and there is a free cocktail hour and band as well as a breakfast buffet for hotel guests

Great Place!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed there and both times we wished we could have stayed longer. One night is not enough to enjoy the comfort and facilities! We missed the free Happy Hour, but we enjoyed the breakfasts made to order. We also enjoyed a very nice supper in the restaurant. Thanks for everything!
