Great Hotel
Great hotel. Staff was extremely accommodating. Very good breakfast. Room comfortable, but needs a little updating in the bathroom/vanity area. I would definitely recommend to travelers and families.

Decent value
Maybe it’s just me but I found driving around Syracuse a bit tough. Thank goodness for the GPS unit I paid for with my car rental. I was there to look at Syracuse U w/my son and one wrong turn sent me about 15 or so miles in the wrong direction (the interstate roads are in good shape but not so many exits incertain directions.) This place was fine for a quick stay and good convenience to the school’s campus. Word to wise: the only Starbucks left in the area is very close to the Admissions office.

not impressed
the walls are thin, so you can here everybody around you pretty easily. you ask for a fridge and they wheel one in to sit plugged in under your sink. no one gets a microwave in their room. theres only one microwave and its down at the front lobby. in order to get internet in the room you have to place your laptop on the designated desk that has the internet cord to plug into your laptop. the room itself was all right. you dont get much goodies, like little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, lotion, etc. you do get a good workin hair dryer. it is clean there. the pool and jacuzzi were nice. for the area the hotel is located at, its nice. there are lots of restauants just a 10 minute drive to or less. and even the mall. but the mall is kind of small so i recommend going to the carousel mall which is like at most 20 mins
