Close to Catalina Express
We only stayed here for one night on our way from Vegas to Catalina Island. We were able to keep our car parked at the hotel and the hotel shuttle drove us and picked us up from the Catalina Express landing, which is only about 8 minutes away. Would stay here again.

Very Convenient and Inexpensive - Don’t let location dissuade you
Rail transit is conveniently located across the street. Despite the location of the hotel, the place is a very nice and well maintained. Free and secure parking is provided if you bring your vehicle. Staff was very professional.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
To save time and money in regards to parking downtown, ake the rail transit conveniently located across the street - especially during the day. At night, you can take your car, but remember when the parking garage at the hotel closes - around 10pm.

good for pre-cruise
The hotel is right on the Metro line. Makes it easy to go to The Pike and Rainbow Harbor, the aquarium, restaurants.Not in the greatest neighborhood but Ok for a one night stay. Employees were very helpful. A bit busy due to the long Beach Marathon Oct. 11th.
