Beautiful fall colors
We went to Shanty Creek for our fall color tour/ anniversary. We will definitely be going back for more.

Nice room, great views
As a hotel it was a nice place to get away for the weekend. I was a bit miffed that there was no complimentary breakfast or even a donut or something. Given that you are quite a ways from other restaurants they have you over a barrel -- you want breakfast, you pay at their restaurant, or go hungry.

Wonderful place to stay
This is a great place for a romatic get-a-way. The rooms are beautiful. The hotel is modern and very clean. Huge jetted tub in the room. The only complaint was that our fireplace didn’t work, but when we mentioned it to the front desk she told us to call maintenance. We didn’t do that since it was summer and we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway. Close to Torch Lake and Alden...beautiful place! Will definitely stay there again!
