Nice, clean, comfortable
We were surprised at how new everything was, and how nice and clean and comfortable the room was. It was an excellent deal for the price.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
For birders: Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge and Bentsen-Rio Grande State Park are both nearby, as is the Valley Nature Center in Weslaco.

Almost great
TV should have been flat panel. Vending machines were empty. Would have been a "5" had those items been addressed. The TV looked like it came from 1995.
