Paris getaway
We found the hotel to be convieniently located to metro, the reception staff was very helpful, and the room was more than adequate. We would not hesitste to recommend the hotel to visitors
We went in the fall which was a bit chilly but did not affect our visits around the city. It was fairly easy to get to by Taxi from the airport which was not too expensive. The Open Tour bus offer a good overview of the historic sites and the narritive was available in a wide variety of languages. The tour enabled us to hop on and off at any of the stops which we wanted to see more of. The Louvre, Eiffel Tower were must see for us. Shopping and dining are available for a wide cross sections of pockets and tastes but the prices are much higher than expected in the US. A wide variety of entertainment and night life activity is available.

Nice Little Hotel a little off center
We arrived at about 7 am and the rooms weren’t ready but they called housekeeping to get one of our rooms ready next. That was a nice touch. While we waited we ate breakfast, which is a really nice buffett with lots of breads, jams, fruit salad, eggs (not very good), sausage, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, cold cuts, cheese. That alone was worth several Euros as we didn’t even have to eat a big lunch. The hotel is about 20 minutes by metro from the main attraction of Paris so you can’t stop in to rest in the middle of the day. But the metro station is really close. This is a residential neighborhood so there are a few supermarkets nearby as well as fast food places. There aren’t a lot "Parisian" cafes nearby and no touristy places. But we did eat at an excellent Italian restaurant two nights, a Turkish sandwich stand and Lebanese restaurant. These are not the typical French places but they are part of this working class neighborhood. We walked along the canal one evening and there was a furniture flea market. There is also a very large movie theather across the canal and down a little ways. There are several playgrounds nearby and the connecting rooms were very adequate for our family of 5. Pros: the breakfast buffett, the staff was friendly, quiet location Cons: far from tourist attractions

Great Hotel!
We had a wonderful bathroom/shower with a comfortable bed and a view of the Seine. The staff was VERY friendly and the breakfast was WONDERFUL! I ABSOLUTELY will stay here next time.
