Good stay for the money
When we made reservatons, we didn’t know the hotel was gong thru renovations. We had to enter thru the back wihch was no big deal. The desk clerk was apologetic, saying they hoped to be thru in a month or so. I noticed she had her phone off the hook. Our room was hot and we could not get the A/C to work, nor could my husband get channels on the TV that were not pay per view. when we called down to the front desk for help, of course we got the busy signal. I told my husband I’d seen the phone off the hook when we checked in, so he walked down to the desk. The girl came up immediately and pounded on the A/C unit to get it humming. She showed us how to get off the pay per view menu with intricate steps that a MIT graduate wouldn’t know. Even so, our room was clean, the bed comfy, and breakfast offered a fair variety.

The hotel staff was most courteous and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable.
