Great location, nice furnishings
Located in St Germain area near Notre Dame but a few blocks off the main street & nearest Metro stop. Hotel lobby is nicely appointed as was our room. Room was small as most are in Paris. The staff was helpful if asking for cab to be called but not very helpful giving recommendations for restaurants in the area, etc. Most of the staff in the lobby spoke English but some were difficult to understand if it involved detail. We skipped the pricey breakfast in the lobby (14 euros for juice, croissants, & fruit) so can’t say how it was. Room was very clean, bathroom was nice size w/ excellent water pressure, bed very comfortable. View of courtyard between other buildings so not much of a view on our side of the hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
Found a great little restaurant, Le Jacobine, hidden away in an interior alley off of the Carrefour de l’Odeon. They have a black current smothered duck breast & a curry duck dish that are both very good. Also the foie gras is very good. The ambiance is very homey and nice. If you are looking for a gem in the Quartier Latin- this is it! They have an English menu too. We met one of the owners & he spoke very good English. This little alley is full of shops & restaurants.

Fabulous Location - Very Nicely Appointed
The front desk staff were wonderful - always offering to help, book taxis, etc. without ever waiting for us to ask. The breakfast spread was delightful and so relaxing. You can walk everywhere from this hotel - and the location is so great that we would stop by in the middle of the day to freshen up or drop things off. The rooms are lovely (on the small side, but that wasn’t a problem) and quiet. Several Velib bike stands nearby :)
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you want to use the Velib bikes (and they are SO fun!), be sure to get an American Express Blue card a few weeks before you go. You need a credit card with a chip, and these are the only US ones that seem to have them. With that, bikes are only 1 Euro per bike per day - and what a great way to get around Paris!

Charming Paris Hotel
Hotel Odeon is perfectly located in St. Germaine a block form St. Suplice and walking distance to the Seine, Museums, Notre Dame and the Metro. The rooms are charming and beautiful, the staff was exceptionally supportive and helpful. The neighborhood cafes were very good. I would return here again!
