Not a good experience
The overall check in process wasn’t comfortable. I didn’t stay in the hotel the entire night; I checked out early after my guest was confronted in the parking lot.

Looks can be deceiving
Upon arriving, we were almost disappointed at the outside appearance of the hotel. It was quite a distance from the action of Pasadena. Once we got to our room we were very impressed. It had been newly renovated, and was very comfortable. The refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast each morning. A wide variety of drinks, and small pastries, as well as toast, bagels, and cereal were available. We found the Tops restaurant next door very convenient for lunches, and dinner. We never quite figured out the bus system, but had a very handy and helpful cab driver.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Due to the nature of the Rose Parade and the tremendous cost for a three night stay, I feel we got a tremendous bargain. If we return for another parade, we would probably book with this hotel again.

Good and low price in that area
The room is clean and comfortable. I will recommend it.
