Extremely comfortable
We were traveling with an infant and 4 yr old to stay one night in Beaufort before venturing to our final resort vacation destination. We wanted a nice clean hotel with comfortable beds and a good breakfast in the morning so that we could begin our vacation with a good night’s sleep and full bellies. This hotel was perfect. Our room was extremely clean and full of niceties. The cost was only about $20 more than a slightly less-quality hotel in the area and I believe it was worth the extra money. Probably my favorite parts of the room were the beds. They were very comfortable and the linens were clean, including the comforter duvet cover which gets washed for every guest. The pillows were puffy and there were plenty of them! We also had a comfy desk and chair, a fridge and microwave (a must w/2 kids), free wireless internet, nice soaps/lotions, and way cool clock radios. The front desk person was very nice, and the pool was a great evening activity. Thank you for a great stay, I would recommend it to anyone!

Eat at Plum’s on Bay Street in downtown Beaufort for an amazing Lowcountry meal with unique and incredibly tasty twists on traditional seafood and local fare. Beautiful waterfront location and casual fun atmosphere.

Good but expected better from Hilton
I can’t say it wasn’t a good stay. I was just surprised by a few things. First was the appearance of the desk staff. I expected uniforms rather than street clothes. After all, it was a Hilton. I wouldn’t have been able to recognize that they worked there had they not been behind the desk. But the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Second, I reserved a king size bed with my room but received two queens. Although, unimportant, why ask me what I want if you aren’t going to deliver. And thirdly, for the price of the room I expected a complimentary breakfast from their hotel restaurant as is with a lot of equal to lesser priced hotels. Oh well, I’d probably stay there again, but would drive down to a nearby IHOP or similar in the morning. Overall AOK.
