Convenient location
I did not want to drive in LA so convenient location and cost were THE two factors I considered when booking a hotel. This hotel served those two goals. I was able to walk to my destination but was not over enthusiastic about anything els in this hotel. Things I found challenging were: overstuffed pillows, noise from the busy street right outside my window, a refrigerator but no microwave, and the fact that the exercise room is located outside the hotel and there is only one key to it. Guests are instructed ’to leave the door unlocked so others can use it. I didn’t feel very secure in LA with the door propped open for anyone to enter. I may return, and I might recommend the hotel - but not without letting my firends know about these issues.

Great Place
A wonderful hotel. The location is very close to the beach, easy to get on and off the freeway nearby. The room and lobby were very clean and modern. Parking seemed a little limited, but I never had trouble getting a spot. I recommend staying here.

FREE PARKING!
Very convenient location to PCH, complimentary shuttle to "action" drop-off for easy walking to Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Ave. Promenade, Montana shopping, restaurants galore. Free parking and easy in and out is a true bonus. We used this locale and drove to all the beach communities with no problem. EZ! Great value for this economy. October at the beach is the best- no crowds, great weather, just GO!
