Cozy hotel
Very nice and cozy hotel in a good location close to public transportation.

not so much
To start, we were put not in the hotel, but an apartment 2 blocks from the actual hotel. I did not get a disclaimer that the jacuzzi room was else where. Since there was major construction, we had to walk around. The apartment is located in a dark alley with lights only at the beginning of the street and at the end. The apartment was in the middle and difficult to find. I felt unsafe at this apartment. The internet does not work and they didn’t know how to fix it. Breakfast is not worth it..didn’t even eat it. The room was big, but very moist and I don’t know why the room felt wet.. the bathtub was leaking. Service wasn’t that great. This is definitely an experience in which I do not want to experience again.

save money by choosing an apartment
My apartment (two blocks from the main hotel) was very handy with a microwave, fridge, and two-burner stove. I saved quite a bit by buying food at an inexpensive to-go place around the corner and eating in and reheating the leftovers. The washer was small but worked fine. I can recommend the central suites apartments for travelers on a budget. I just wish the tub had a shower curtain! It was a quirky place but very nice and convenient to the Danube and to Raday and Vaci streets.
