Beach very nice, hotel not the best!
Hotel is very old and needs some work. It actually met our needs for the week we were there as we had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen so we could do a little cooking. However, it is very removed from everything like grocery store, banks, and buses. A very long hike up 2 pretty big hills to get to anything. If you don’t take a taxi (which is expensive) then you have to walk which we did a lot of (and I have the blisters on my feet to prove it). Also, we were receiving other people’s messages and did not get our own, assuming that whoever’s messages we were getting were also getting ours. The staff was okay, but not at all like I read in other reviews. The one really good thing was the restaurant at the hotel. Really excellent food! We never ever had a bad meal! The beach was very nice, fairly quiet and private. I would not stay here again though mainly because of its distance away from necessities. Just a little too remote for me.

Must do the circumnavigation around the entire island! Wonderful! Would highly recommend this!

If you can imagine you are at a Resort ( private -likebeach/bay) its paradise on budget
Clean, friendly, helpful staff, new addition currently under construction. For a few dollars a memmorable view. This is my second stay.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dining is getting expensive. You can walk less than a 1/2 mile to most or cab $20 round trip to Grande Anse locations.
