A spa getaway at the edge of the Alps
Overall the hotel was very nice, with a lovely view of Lac Annecy and the Alps behind it, well-kept grounds away from the bustle of the city (and yes, Annecy is a city, no longer a lake-front town). The spa was excellent. My only complaints: the rooms were VERY small, and the prices for extra amenities such as clothes cleaning service were astronomical. Otherwise a lovely getaway.

Les clos du sens, a nearby restaurant, is a gastronomical standout, featuring the new wave of "technological foods". Absolutely worth a short hop to find it.

Would be perfect with A/C
I stayed for one summer day at Les Tresoms in June of 2008. It’s a very nice older building with hardwood floors and classic styling. The pool area is well kept and the restaurant, although very expensive, serves excellent food. I struggle to not give a 5 in overall or comfort due to the lack of air conditioning. The hotel is modernized with key cards and flat screen tv’s, but you will sweat on a warm still night as I did. In this day and age, there really aught to be air conditioning in a hotel as nice as this. Great views, nice location, great atmosphere. Overall a good hotel.
