Great Venice alternative
The hotel is across the street from the train station (less than 5 minute walk to the track) and was a great alternative to the very pricey Venice hotels. The extra bonus was enjoying the downtown Padua pedestrian area (very upscale and pleasant), as well as the Scrovegni Chapel. The hotel was very servicable and clean (not luxurious) with a tasty and complete breakfast offered.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
This is an easy walk to the Scrovegni Chapel. You can make reservations ahead of time for the video history and 15-20 minutes in the chapel. The museum is EXTENSIVE and can take hours to view. We rushed through it and it still took an hour.

Great location
Across the street from the train station. Friendly helpful staff. Nice breakfast, included in the room rate.

Not what I expected
The photos make it look like it’s on a lovely, green street. It actually overlooks the bus and train station. While it was clean and surprisingly quiet, it was not what I expected for the money we paid. The desk staff was not very welcoming. However, the location is great for catching the train to Venice or visiting the Scrovegni Chapel.
