worth staying

Great hotel if you’re a couple . . .
The staff was wonderful, the hotel was in a great location (near the Bridge of Sighs), it was clean, and the included daily breakfast was quite nice (the coffee was excellent!). HOWEVER, we expected a room with twin beds, and what we got were twin beds pushed together so that they may as well have been a queen size. I’ve seen small rooms before, but this was smaller than the average cabin on a cruise ship. If you are two singles travelling together, we suggest you spring for a bigger room.
Either spring for a larger room, or stay somewhere else. The single room with twin beds in this hotel were pushed so close together, it was like having one big bed. Too cramped!

Location, Location, Location
Water boat (not expensive Taxi) from Airport stops right at Hotel’s door. Easy walk to San Marco and along the canal. Was on ground floor of Anex so morning noise started early. (Some part of the area seems to always be under construction!) Even so, room was pretty sound proof. Tiny TV.
Traveler's tip on dining
Hotel staff very good at directing to good and reasonable resturants. Within a few blocks but off the canal tourist traps.
