Good Hotel... Quiet Street
The service was excellent. The room was comfortable and big compared to many Ive had in Europe. My room was in the back with no elevator but I never care about that. However, if you have trouble with stairs you may want to ask for a room in the front part of the hotel. My only complaint was with the WiFi service. Like many hotels in Europe it is not provided with the room, so is purchased separately from one of the countrys internet providers and at this hotel it sucks badly.

small, quiet, safe
I stayed in the Hotel Glasgow in 2005 and I remember the staff being very kind to me, giving me a Pascal Morabati collection of soaps and shampoo, after a maid had accidentally thrown away my shampoo while cleaning the room. So, I knew the place had small rooms, bathrooms, etc... but a friendly staff. On my recent stay, March, 2009, I needed a double room as I had a friend staying with me for a night. The first room I was shown was fine , but it had one queen sized bed and I wanted a room with two single beds. The second room had that, but there was a strong cigarette smoke smell, ( in the curtains and bedspread ). Other than that, the room was fine and I could open the window for fresh air.
Traveler's tip on dining
Typically french and a very good cafe, "Clair de Lune", has very reasonable lunches and dinners.

okay for short stays
Very cute hotel, conveniently located. Quiet rooms. Only complaint I have is that the bathroom is TINY! It is possible to take a shower, as long as youre not a big person.
Traveler's tip on dining
The brasserie around the corner is very good.
