Will stay there again if I am in the area
The Residence Inn by Marriott Bethesda Downtown had a very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. We were greeted with a smile and verbal welcome upon our arrival. Everytime we left the hotel the staff spoke to us and welcomed back upon our return. We werent familiar with the area and the staff was great with directions and with suggestions on how to get to where we were going.
Traveler's tip
If not familiar with the area I would suggest taking the Metro to get to and from Bethesda to Washington, DC and all the small towns in between for sightseeing and shopping. You can buy a days pass for $7.80 and ride the Metro unlimited from 9:30 a.m. - closing. The Metro lines are color coded with the towns listed on each line. There are plenty of signs with the names of the towns that tell you to go left or right to get you where youre going so its a easy system to master.

Well-designed, fabulously decorated, conveniently located
Well-designed, generously sized rooms, fantastic interior decoration, a block and a half from the metro. Very pleased with our experience.
