Not Bad

This hotel was "not Bad". Take that for what it worth. Not a bad place if you need a room, but nothing special.

Pretty on the outside.... Terrible on the inside

The hotel is located pretty close to the convention center and right next to the civic center. Location is pretty good and the exterior also looks quite charming. It looks older but nice from outside as well, but that is where it ends. My room had the look that it was once actually pretty nice, but it had never been taken care of. Everything was extremely warn and show signs of neglect. The carpet for example was warn down to where in some places you could see the backing clearly. The Bathroom celling pain was pealing and showed signs of water damage and mold. The other issue was in the morning the staff was extremely loud in the morning, loud enough that I could hear every word that they said. It made it impossible to sleep

Worth a try...

I stayed at this hotel because I wanted to be on time for the cruise. If it were not for this coupon and the discounted rate I would have demanded my money back. They over price this hotel because there are little options around the port. You do get to park there while you are cruising and there is a bus stop across the street you can take for free to the port. The desk people said we could get late check out and then called early and said we couldnt. The breakfast was ok for free food.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

There is a bus stop across the street. No one was on it so the lady drove us straight to the port. The hotel staff didnt even tell me about the bus stop...they first said they would call a cab. Someone just coming back from a cruise told me about the bus and that it was free.
