WOW, This was amazing. And we can’t wait to go back.
OMG, this was without a doubt the best vacation ever. The hotel staff was great, friendly, and were eager to make sure all our needs were met. Our hotel room over looked the beach. The view was great. We booked a couple of excursions, the FantaSea, Whitewater rafting, and Elephant Trekking was great and the four Island tour (but the seas were rough and the trip was canceled)next time we will try again. The FantaSea in Phuket is a must see and is spectacular(remember to look up during the show). The food is great, try the small places on the beach. This was our first experience in Thailand, but will not be our last. The Thai people are without a doubt some of the friendliest people in the world.
Traveler's tip on shopping
The shops in canal village were also amazing. The assortment of Thai crafted items, and the prices was great. Remember to shop to small shops as well, the Thai people is the village are very apprecitive of your business and are willings to negoitate prices.

perfect for a little getaway
having not been to thailand before, and as my sister and i were only there for a few days - i had chosen this hotel as random choice and it was not a bad choice at all! we just wanted a few days to relax and unwind; Dusit Thani was definitely a place to do just that. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful and with one of the nicest beaches i’ve been to literally a stone’s throw away from our room. Only the rainstorms dampened our moods slightly but thank goodness they didn’t last during our whole stay!

Dusit Laguna Beach Resort is nice and quiet.
The Dusit Laguna is a great choice for your vacation, especially if you are looking for a quiet place close to the beach to relax at. The beach is clean and you can get a good massages in direct proximity to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, room service was fast. Hotel has good restaurants especially the La Trattoria Italian Restaurant and the Ruen Thai, Thai Restaurant. They do have internet access in the lobby, but was unable to get a good connection to the room when I stayed there. I Would stay there again and recommend trying this hotel.
Traveler's tip on shopping
If you are looking for shopping try Patong Beach. Not much in Phuket City shopping wise.
