pool was great
the hotel rooms are kinda. of old but still very good. the pool is great and the beach is a right there... would def stay there again....
good to safeway and getr some food if you have a fridge in your room

It was unexpected good!
We had a very nice and clean studio with full kitchen, although a balcony could be bigger. I’ve been looking for quiet hotel and this one is a very quiet, I mean it - a VERY quiet. There is no any entertainment on property whatsoever. Only one cafe with a little bar but you have to consume your drink in bar area, you can’t take it to pool or grass area where you actually setting with a family.

Good for Price--IF get remodeled room
I stayed here due to good price in great area. My room definately needed updating. I would have been very happy with the room next to mine though--it depends as they are individually owned. Great location and helpful staff at hotel. I would stay here again, but check out the room first! My room was a studio with kitchen in the tower. I would recommend renting a car--few places to do so within 2 miles of this hotel.

Camp Kaanapali is offered to children ages 5 – 12. Camp activities include a variety of Hawaiian cultural and outdoor-based activities such as hula dancing, ukulele lessons, beach exploration, lei making, sand art, kite making/flying, swimming, scavenger hunts, games, arts, and crafts. Both day and evening sessions are available. One-time registration fee of $10 per child includes a t-shirt. Daily rate of $25 per child includes meals. Registration must be made 24 hours in advance upon arrival at the resort. Registration is held daily at 8 AM at the Camp Kaanapali Center in room 135. Camp Kaanapali hours are Monday – Friday (with the exception of major holidays), 8 AM – 2 PM. Friday evening sessions are 5 PM – 9 PM and include dinner. Space is limited to 16 participants per session. Children who are ill may not attend.
