A reasonable location, but lacking charm
This hotel is located within a 15 minute walk to La Cite (the medieval walled city of Carcassonne). Despite its central location, this hotel offered little in the way of charm or comfort. The hotel lobby and hallways smelled very heavily of cat odor. The rooms were small, reasonably clean, but incredibly outdated. The bed was sagging, and the pillows were very flimsy. Of the two rooms in our party, one had a plastic bifold door to its bathroom. The other room’s bathroom only had a curtain separating it from the main room. There are better hotels just as close to the main tourist atttractions in the city.
