good hotel, bad location
this was a very good hotel, specially for a price paid. you get more than enough, however, Location is very bad. no taxi takes you in front of hotel. they drop you block away and they ask you to walk to your hotel and if you have a big suitcase, it will not be a pleasant walk at all. its very dirty area and very busy, but to take a taxi to bund area, it will only cost you $3.

Nice Holiday Inn
The hotel is fairly new and modern, very well kept. Amenities are nice, with LCD TV and free internet, and a nicely designed bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was good with lots of variety. It’s near the train station, also the subway station, so convenient transit but the train station is currently under renovation so lots of construction and road blocks...

good hotel with bad location
the hotel was new looking and comfortable, but the location is not good. difficult to get taxi transportation to and from the hotel. asked the front desk for help to go to the hotel and they asked for 800RMB to get me there. would not return
