Clean but clueless
The room was clean and comfortable, though basic. The service was non-existent. We arrived around 8pm and the front - desk clerk informed me that he could not give us towels for our two rooms b/c of a mistake in the count. He said somebody was coming with towels in a half hour. A few minutes later, I was in the lobby when a couple checked in and they were not told of any problems. I asked the clerk and he said " Oh, I gave you adjoining rooms, I thought you’d rather have that than having the towels"... I waited over 45minutes and finally decided to talk to him again and suggested to get towels from another room to give them to us. That should have been HIS idea right from the begining!!! Customer service means making the guest comfortable, no matter what! Soap containers in both bathrooms almost empty; enough for not even one person’s shower. We had to use our own b/c front desk clerk was not available. Another problem: make sure you are not charged for breakfast if you booked with it included. They are quite clueless...
