Lovely new villa
The Villa was built in 2005, so it is nice and new. It is traditional Tuscan style, and run by a lovely Italian husband and Swedish wife (who speaks many languages). They serve a nice European breakfast for 6 Euros. Dinner is a bit pricier (about 35 Euros per person), but was delicious. It is out of the way and peaceful, but not far from Florence.

Great place
Staying here was one of the best decision that we made. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. The hotel faces the Arno River and has a great view from it’s outdoor patio. It was a welcome break from the crowds and noise of Florence. If there is anything bad that I can say is that you need a car to get to the train station. Overall, our week there was a great experience.
